X-Men #79, published in Dec 1972, is a Bronze Age Marvel comic featuring the X-Men, written by Roy Thomas with cover art by Gil Kane.

Entitled We Must Destroy... The Cobalt Man!, this story features the X-Men — "The Strangest Super-Heroes of All" — as they continue their battle to protect humanity while confronting powerful mutant, cosmic, and super-villain threats.
